pict Firefox plugin update

Today new version of Pict Firefox Add-on was released. Now it is much better. We’ve fixed all reported bugs (thanks to everybody!) and added new feature: screenshot edit tools. With these tools you can now add text to your screenshot, draw arrows and mark something.

You can download new version here.

For more information please visit Pict Tools page.

There are two things I miss about the old version of the plugin.

No. 1:

Old behaviour: After selecting an area for your screenshot you were able to re-define the size of the selection by dragging the corners of the selection, that was great!

New behaviour: When you make a selection for an area you can’t re-define the size of the area because you start a new selection as soon as you click somewhere on the page, that sucks :(

No. 2:

Old behaviour: The resolution/dimension of the selection was shown “live” while you where selecting the content you wanted to screenshot. This was helpful when you wanted to create an image with certain dimensions (e.g. 200×100 pixel).

New behaviour: The dimensions are not shown until you release the mouse button to make your selection and you can’t re-define your selection due to my first point (see above).

Could we get these two things back please? The rest of the plugin is amazing :)
