Yesterday (March, 24) we had some problems with our main ISP and some of Pict users were unable to connect to the website. The problem wasn’t an ordinary one - an optic fiber was damaged somewhere in Europe, that is why it took 7 hours to fix it.
Folks, we appologize for this inconvenience. We will do our best to avoid such problems in future.
Peace!

Cool, isn’t it?
Pict.Com offers automatic image resizing. Whenever you upload an image Pict automatically creates copies with different sizes. To share resized image you need to switch to Advanced mode:
- Move your mouse over the image you would like to share and click “Share it”
- Click “Switch to advanced mode” link at the bottom of “Share it” dialog box

Now you can select different sizes and get you linking codes to share the image. Just click on the “Mini size”, “Medium size”, “Large size” or “Original size” tabs and select avaliable linking codes.
To return to simple sharing mode, click “Switch to simple mode” link.

Q: How to delete all images in album?
A: Simply click “Delete all images” button.
Q: How to upload a picture from web?
A: This is really very easy:
- Click the “Upload image from URL” button

Btw, if want to request a new feature, please contact us and we will be happy to implement something new to Pict.
Guys, Pict is a “one-click” image hosting. This means there is no registration required to upload and share your images. However this means that you should take care of saving your Pict “workspace“. If you clean your browser cookies or you access Pict from another computer, you will not find images you uploaded on your Pict workspace (unless you register). In order to back up your workspace you should use “Save to email” feature.
Just click on the “Save to email” button, enter you email address and click Send.
Thats all! You’ll receive an email with the link to your personal workspace.
* Please note, that ALL uploaded images will ALWAYS be safe. However you might loose a link to your album/images unless you back up using “Save to email” feature or register (registration will be avaliable soon).
This is a new feature, guys!
If you would like to share entire album with all your images you can pass the “Share this album” URL (at the bottom of your album) to your friends, email it, or post on a website.
If you have noticed any bugs/errors please report them to us. We are doing our best to make Pict the best image hosting service.
Thanks.
